Two new cotender for the best r/c drift chassis!!!

HERE IT COMES!!!

i just found out about two new chassis which I personally think are very amazing. They are very well built and has thier own advantages. So with out further a-do here they are!!


Yokomo's very own D-Max
I think this chassis is nore or less the same with Hpi Pro-D. Thier sturcture is basically the same with the battry pack laying across the chassis for more balance weight, front mounted motor.
But the D-max has 1 more trick in his sleeves. The D-Max has a slippry clutch just like in r/c buggy. So from what I could see Yokomo's D-Max is much batter than Hpi's Pro-D.

This chassis is pretty much the same with the Tamiya's TA05 with the SP drift conversion kit.
So I dont need to say much about the chassis as you all can see its practically yhe same with TA05 from my previous post on the Pro-D vs TA05 debate.

Drift-Tech Drift Series 2010

Team Drift-tech has organised a drift series for 2010. If i'm not mistaken this is the first r/c drift series in Brunei. At each race, the racer will be given points according to their result for the race.
If you win the race the more points you will get. And at the end of the year all the points will be counted and the person with the highest point will be crowned as the drift king for that particular year. Here are some more info:-

Entrance Fee (one year) - $25 each driver

Race Entrance Fee (each race) - $15 each driver

Official Tyre - HPI T-Drift #4406 *not provided* (subject to be change anytime by the organizer)

Point System - top 20 drivers will get their respective points from 20 points (1st position) - 1 point (20th position) n bonus points will be given for the top 3 drivers in the final

Track location - to be inform to all drivers one month before the race (subject to change anytime by the organizer)

Race Format - different types of format will be used in the races which will be a surprise for all drivers

Race date - to be expected once in 2 months (subject to be change anytime by the organizer)

Points Info - points collection n positions will be updated in this thread

actually i didn't go to witness the top 8 drifter race...b'cos i got a fuction at my school.

DBD drift race on 8 Nov 09

The race organised byDB Drifter was awesome. The track was fantastic. The format was perfect.
Firstly I would like to thank all my friends from DB Drifter who organised this event.
The event started at around 10.30 am but unfortunately we can't finised the event on the same date due to the rainfall that made the track wet. We only had time to finished the 3 qualifying rounds and a few race for the top 16 drifter. So the race will continue on a later date.
So here are some pics I took during the race...its not a lot.
