THE ERA OF FRONT MOUNTED MOTOR

Nowdays the front mounted motor is the new trend of rc drifting. There are a lot of conversion n pre-made front mounted chassis out there. The main purpose is to get more balanced chassis thus better handling.
From my experinces i got from using tt01d n HSP Vantex is that...both handles ok but when im on the straights n pressed on full-throttle, the cars didn't go straight but the back tend to slide alittle to the side where the engine is located. I asked the pros n they said its normal n there r a few ways to prevent this:-
1. use softer spring at the back
2. adjust ur spring at an x-position which means when the front-left end has the same spring with the back-right n the front-right has the same with back-left.
3. don't use full-throttle *i think the best solution
4. use belting chassis

but... there is a better way!! THE FRONT MOTOR CHASSIS!!
If im not mistaken the first drift chassis with a front mounted motor is the HPI E10 drift.
Then Hpi built a professional version of the E10 called "PRO-D"

here are some pics of the front conversion n front mounted motor chassis...

  1. This article would be a lot more credible if it was written in proper English.
